The client is a technology company building smart business solutions across multiple industries, restaurants, retail, engineering, and contracting. They set out to create an advanced point-of-sale (POS) platform that would remove the inefficiencies in sales, inventory, and payment processes, and serve businesses in Saudi Arabia and beyond.

Before the project, businesses relied on fragmented systems that failed to communicate with each other. They had no reliable way to operate offline, struggled to manage inventory and sales across locations, lacked integration with Saudi payment gateways and essential hardware, and had little real-time analytics or proper multilingual support, all of which slowed operations and reporting.

ZAPTA designed and delivered TagDev, an integrated SaaS POS platform unifying sales, inventory, and payments with offline support, Arabic/English localization, Saudi payment integrations, real-time dashboards, and web/mobile access.
